Next Wednesday 10 June, the Centre For Young Musicians will present 50 performances from current students and distinguished alumni to celebrate their 50th anniversary in an Online Gala, in place of the planned Barbican Centre event.
‘Students appearing range in age from 7 to 18 years old, from those on the Primary Years Programme to those about to continue their musical studies at conservatoires and universities.’
The evening is introduced by former CYM student, now journalist and broadcaster, Naga Munchetty, and features performances from other alumni Vashti Hunter, Vincent Lindsay-Clarke, John Lenihan, Amy Roberts and Django Bates.
The event will be streamed at 7pm via cym.org.uk
