Pianist Kirill Gerstein’s curiosity and versatility has led to a powerful engagement with a wide range of repertoire and styles. From Bach to Adès, his playing is distinguished by its clarity of expression, discerning intelligence and virtuosity. Gerstein’s energetic and imaginative musical personality has taken him rapidly to the top of his profession.

Macbeth Media Relations began working for Kirill Gerstein at the beginning of 2014. Collaborating closely with his management, we oversee international press initiatives relating to engagements and record releases, and coordinate promotional activity through social media. The 2018-19 season sees Kirill Gerstein give the world première of Thomas Adès’ Piano Concerto with the Boston Symphony Orchestra written especially for him, in addition to return engagements at the Royal Festival Hall, Wigmore Hall and Barbican in London.  Recording releases include Busoni’s Piano Concerto also with the Boston Symphony and Sakari Oramo on myrios classics in February 2019.
