Following the première of two movements in September 2021, on 9 January, the London Symphony Orchestra and Sir Simon Rattle will give the London première of a third movement of Julian Anderson’s Exiles: Remembrances for Voices and Orchestra – La République des Lettres – at the Barbican.

On 20 January, Robin Ticciati and the Bavarian Radio Symphony will give the world première of the complete Exiles in Munich. The second performance on 21 January will be broadcast live on BR Klassik here.

***Please note that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the world première of the complete Exiles will no longer take place in Munich but in Berlin in April with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin conducted by Robin Ticciati
