OUR STORIES

We build real and relevant stories for our clients

Macbeth Media Relations works in collaboration with a deliberately small roster of international clients, and develops individually tailored strategies matched to their specific goals. Our genuine commitment to our clients is reflected in the longevity of our relationships. A few of our stories are sketched out here.

Julian Anderson

Julian Anderson's music has attracted attention since his orchestral score Diptych won the 1992 RPS Prize for Young Composers. He is recognised not only as a distinguished composer but as an enabler and academic. Working with him since his 40th birthday in 2007, we have coordinated the promotion of his Wigmore Hall residency, his first opera Thebans at English National Opera, his 50th birthday celebrations and BBC Symphony Orchestra’s Total Immersion day.

We were re-engaged the following year by Jonathan Reekie to promote his first Festival as Chief Executive and worked closely with him throughout his tenure which culminated in 2013 with the centenary of Benjamin Britten.

Kings Place

We began working with the Executive Chair of Kings Place, Peter Millican, more than a decade ago when the arts venue that we know today was still just an enormous hole in the ground. Recommended by the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, the initial brief was to cover the 18-month period leading up to the opening festival in September 2008.

Opera Rara

Recognising the need to raise its profile with the loss of its long-term sponsor, Opera Rara approached us in 2013 as a result of our on-going work for New York's Metropolitan Opera. The immediate project was the release Donizetti’s Belisario and performance of Offenbach’s Fantasio at the Royal Festival Hall.
