This week Wiener Staatsroper will boom with the sound of Strauss’s ‘Elektra’ conducted by Semyon Bychkov – the same opera he conducted for his Wiener Staatsoper debut in 1999. Joining him will be soloists Waltraud Meier, Christine Goerke and Simone Schneider.
